Academy Arts Museum

Since its founding in 1958 the Academy Art Museum has presented an unparalleled level of artistic and educational offerings. Considered one of the finest regional art museums in the country, the Academy Art Museum is dedicated to presenting rotating exhibitions of national significance and the best from the region’s artistic community. Complementing the exhibitions is a year-round schedule of programs including classes, lectures, outreach and concerts.

Easton Choral Arts Society

The Easton Choral Arts Society is a volunteer, non-profit choral group of more than 60 voices, incorporated in Easton, Maryland. Our members come from all over the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The organization was founded in 1977 as a community group with the goal of bringing "great choral masterpieces" to as many people as possible on the Eastern Shore. Performances have included works of J. S. Bach, Handel, Haydn, Vivaldi, Mozart, Kodaly, Britten, Orff, Poulenc, Verdi, Rutter and many others. Music styles have ranged from opera to the stage.

 

South Street Art Gallery

South Street Art Gallery features contemporary representational artists from across the United States, with a focus on artists from the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Shore regions. Our specialty is large landscapes in oil, and we are also known for our top notch selection of plein air works by award winning artists; yet our wide ranging eclectic collection includes figurative impressionism, contemporary still lifes, fine watercolors, intaglio prints, glass art and bronze sculptures.

 

St. Michaels Art League

The Art League's mission is to further the visual arts and bring art to our community. Members are encouraged
to enhance their creativity, learn new skills, share ideas with others interested in art, and support each others
artistic endeavors. Our members agree that the St. Michaels Art League is the creative spirit of this very special
town and, most importantly, we have fun.

 

 

Talbot County Arts Council

The Talbot County Arts Council is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to provide funding and other assistance for arts programs, arts organizations, and arts education in Talbot County. It is funded annually by a community arts development grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, supplemented by grants from the Talbot County Council and the Towns of Easton and St. Michaels.

Tred Avon Players

The Tred Avon Players, Inc. (“TAP”) is a non-profit Maryland corporation, organized in 1982 to present plays and musicals in the then newly-renovated Oxford Community Center (“OCC”), an abandoned school building which was saved from the wrecking ball by a group of public spirited citizens. Since the first sold-out melodramas in August of 1982, TAP has grown in community stature and artistic merit to present four (sometimes five) plays and musicals each year for ever-growing numbers of residents on and visitors to the most livable town on the Eastern Shore.

Dorchester Arts Center

Dorchester Center for the Arts, Inc., formed in 1970, is dedicated to enriching Maryland's Eastern Shore community through high quality, engaging programming in the visual, literary, musical and performing arts. A non-profit organization, the Center for the Arts is situated on Historic High Street in Cambridge where it offers gallery shows, arts classes and an artisans' gift shop.

The Queen Anne's County Arts Council is a non-profit organization committed to promoting, expanding and sustaining the arts.

Maryland Citizens for the Arts

Maryland Citizens for the Arts, Inc. (MCA) represents Maryland artists and arts organizations of all disciplines. Its principle mission is to promote adequate funding for the Maryland State Arts Council and to advocate for the arts at the state and federal levels. Our companion organization, Maryland Citizens for the Arts Foundation (MCAF) seeks to increases public recognition and support of the arts through education and research.
